A group of Los Angeles investors paid $16.5 million for the Harborscape Apartments in Huntington Beach. The 88-apartment, 73,972-square-foot complex is at 5152 Heil Ave. in the Bolsa Chica-Heil section of the city. The complex was built in 1970 on a 169,994-square-foot lot. The complex includes single- and two-story apartments and cottages. The apartments sold for $187,500 each, or $223 per square foot. The capitalization rate—or projected return from rents—was 5.4%. John Nguyen and Sheil Stampwala of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services Inc. represented the undisclosed seller, believed to be Capital Foresight LP of Beverly Hills.
