Asics America Corp. in Irvine has moved its headquarters 3 miles northwest to a campus at Lakeview Business Center that’s tailored to the recent trend toward creative office space.
The sports apparel manufacturer leased two buildings from the Irvine Company—80 Technology Drive and 15350 Barranca—for a total of 121,332 square feet of space. That’s double the size it had at its prior location on 29 Parker.
The new headquarters include treadmill desks, an on-campus cafeteria, outdoor patios, BBQs and eating areas equipped with wireless access and close to walking trails and waterfalls, to “encourage employees to get out and explore, drawing inspiration both inside and outside the office,” according to the company.
An on-campus company store will open early next year, geared towards employees, as well as for “Asics’ friends and family.”
