Children’s Hospital of Orange County plans to hire 210 workers by early 2013 as it prepares to open its new tower.
The pediatric hospital in Orange said on its recruiting website that it would interview licensed clinical professionals on June 16. Positions include pediatric nurses, surgical services technicians, radiology imaging technicians and laboratory professionals.
CHOC has already hired 90 workers. Available jobs will range from clinical positions and certified technicians to janitorial and administrative staff.
The hospital is building a seven-story pediatric tower as the centerpiece of a $562 million expansion that will include new office space and renovations of existing space. The tower—set for completion next year—will have more than 425,000 square feet of space.
