BANKING

Sunwest Bank named Kendra Coffey senior vice president of operations in its Tustin office. Coffey previously was vice president of member services at Kinecta Federal Credit Union in Manhattan Beach. She is a certified financial planner. The company also named Andrew Lamb senior vice president and relationship manager in its Newport Beach office. Lamb previously was senior vice president of Pacific Mercantile Bank in Costa Mesa.

EDUCATION

Laura Khouri was named president of the board for Prentice School in Santa Ana. The nonprofit, private school caters to children with dyslexia from preschool through eighth grade. Khouri has been a member of the board and has been involved in many fundraising efforts.

JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano named Michele Ramirez as chief financial officer. Ramirez previously was the financial resource manager for Hines Horti-culture Inc. in Irvine. She also has served as copresident of the Santa Margarita Catholic High School boys’ volleyball booster club.

EMPLOYMENT

Irvine-based Kimco Staffing Services Inc. promoted Shane Lamb to regional vice president. Lamb previously was regional director. Leticia Kelch also was promoted to director of service delivery for premier partnerships. Kelch has been with the company for 12 years. Pramod Davé joined as a client services manager. Davé previously worked at Menlo Park-based Robert Half International as an account executive.

Manpower Inc. hired Julie Ward as branch manager in its Orange office. Ward previously was branch manager for Abigail Abbott Staffing Services Inc. in Tustin. She has more than 25 years in the staffing industry.

FINANCE

Russell Gorman was named managing director of Irvine-based Hunter Wise Financial Group LLC. Gorman previously was a director with Merrill Lynch & Co. and a senior analyst and vice president with Moody’s Corp.’s Moody’s Investors Service. He also is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

INSURANCE

Newport Beach-based Alliant Insurance Ser-vices Inc. named Diana Kiehl chief administrative officer. Kiehl has been with the company for 18 years and previously was managing director of brokerage services. She will be responsible for the sales and service practices and will oversee human resources.

SullivanCurtisMonroe Insurance Services LLC in Irvine hired Taylor Lister as an account executive. Lister previously was an account executive at the Anaheim office of Hub International Insurance Services Inc.

LAW

Theodora Oringher Miller & Richman PC added Suzanne Jones as a senior attorney in its Costa Mesa office. Jones specializes in commercial, healthcare and government investigations with a focus on government fraud litigation. She previously worked at the Irvine office of Jones Day.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Morgan Marketing & Public Relations LLC in Irvine added Kelly Frey as a senior account executive. She previously was marketing and public relations manager for the CineVegas Film Festival in Las Vegas.

REAL ESTATE

New York-based Emmes Group of Cos. hired Robert Shibuya as managing director of the western region. He will be based in the company’s Newport Beach office. Shibuya previously was chief operating officer for the North American region at London-based DTZ Holdings PLC.

SERVICES

LightWorks Optics in Tustin hired Erik Stover as senior manufacturing engineer. Stover will be responsible for providing technical engineering support on all customer projects within the aerospace, defense and commercial programs. He previously worked at Janos Technology Inc. as a technologies manager.

TECHNOLOGY

Seattle-based Pacific Telecom Services LLC named Peter Mc-Laughlin chief operating officer in its Costa Mesa office. McLaughlin previously was chief executive of Kentucky’s Assenti LLC and is co-founder of San Diego’s Pyxis Corp., which is now part of CareFusion Corp.
