Lisa de los Reyes has joined the Business Journal as copy editor, filling a position left open with the departure of Samuel Richard, who has joined investment manager Capital Group Cos.
De los Reyes arrives from the Ladue News in the St. Louis metropolitan area, where she most recently served as managing editor of the weekly luxury lifestyle publication. She had been at the magazine since 2010, when she came on board as associate editor.
She’s done freelance work for the St. Louis Business Journal, among other publications, with prior stints at the Web-based successor to the St. Louis Globe-Democrat, and the TimesDaily in Florence, Ala.
De los Reyes earned a bachelor of arts degree in English, with a minor in mathematics, from the St. Louis University, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society.

She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
