Nixon Library Taps Hewitt as CEO

The Richard Nixon Foundation named Hugh Hewitt, a well-known conservative radio host, as its chief executive and president, effective July 1.

Hewitt, who was hired by Nixon as a researcher from Harvard University 40 years ago, was involved in the building and opening of the presidential library in Yorba Linda nearly 30 years ago.

Hewitt is succeeding William H. Baribault. Hewitt, who is a tenured professor at Chapman University, will split his time between Washington, D.C. and Yorba Linda.
