Denisha McKenzie is the president-elect of the Newport Beach-based Thurgood Marshall Bar Association.
The association is an affiliate of the Orange County Bar Association, with a mission of connecting, supporting and increasing the African-American legal community in Orange County.
She is a labor and employment attorney with Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP’s Irvine office. She graduated from University of California-Irvine School of Law’s inaugural class. She also is a co-founder of the Orange County Human Rights Association.
Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger is the 2017 “Distinguished Law Firm Sponsor” of the Thurgood Marshall Bar Association. The law firm will fund scholarships for four law students to help with their legal education costs.
