Fountain Valley-based video gaming products maker HyperX has renewed its deal to keep the naming rights for the esports gaming hub at one of the best known landmarks on the Las Vegas Strip.
The HyperX Arena Las Vegas is located at the pyramid-shaped Luxor Hotel and Casino.
The arena is the global flagship property of Allied Esports (Nasdaq: AGAE), which previously was based in Irvine but is now in New York.
HyperX’s previous naming rights deal for the facility was announced about 2.5 years ago.
HyperX Arena hosts local and professional esports games and tournaments, shows hosted by esports and sports celebrities as well as influencers, and a variety of gaming cultural entertainment events.
Per the multiyear deal announced May 8, HyperX will continue to receive prominent branding and signage inside and outside of the venue, as well as across all arena promotions, content and social media platforms.
HyperX, the gaming products unit of HP Inc., is known for high-end computer gaming products such as mice, headsets, keyboards, USB microphones and console accessories.
HyperX and Allied Esports will also continue to partner on various co-branded experiences and events at the arena.
“Allied Esports is a key partner for us, with their ability to deliver a best-in-class esports destination in a city that has become nationally known for its esports, sports and entertainment,” said Daniel Kelley, director of marketing, HyperX.
Since opening in March 2018, the arena has hosted more than 700 events, including League of Legend All Stars.
HyperX Arena has welcomed more than half a million visitors since its inception.
