WHY: Has built world-class symphony that typically performs 100 concerts a year, including abroad and on national TV. During his tenure, the Pacific Symphony’s budget has grown by over 200%; now at over $20M.  

IN THE NEWS: 2023 gala at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach honored Forsyte and his 25th anniversary as the orchestra’s CEO and president. Over $2.1M raised.  Plans to name new conductor in November to replace retiring Carl St. Clair.

NOTABLE: After Irvine killed talks with Live Nation, symphony continued talks to make it a key part of new amphitheater in early stages of development at the Great Park; meanwhile city built a temporary stage – Great Park Live – to accommodate 5K attendees.
