WHO: The Ferders established their jewelry business in 2005, which now includes seven salons across the U.S., a traveling equestrian salon, and one in London. Lugano is currently the best-performing consumer brand unit under parent Compass Diversified Holdings (NYSE: CODI).
WHY: Moti Ferder is currently a board member for the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and the Lupus Research Alliance. Idit Ferder sits on the board of the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA). Through Lugano, the couple supports over 100 organizations focused on healthcare, education and the arts.
IN THE NEWS: Its private club Privé next to its Newport Beach salon has culinary events with Ment’or, a nonprofit founded by famed chefs Keller, Daniel Boulud and Jerome Bocuse to help cultivate and support young talent in the culinary industry. The Lugano salon in London opened in April 2024.
NOTABLE: Lugano has donated more than $2.5M to OCMA to ensure 10 years of free admissions.
