OC500 2025: JEFF PINTAR

JEFF PINTAR

FOUNDER/CEO

PINTAR INVESTMENT CO.

WHY: Pintar Investment Co. burst onto the scene in late 2024 when it was part of the team that won a federal auction for the Chet Holifield Federal Building, also known as the Ziggurat. Plans to demolish and redevelop the former federal building stalled, however, when the auction was canceled and Pintar Investment Co. (and its partner) no longer held any rights to the property. Government hasn’t yet restarted process to sell it.

IN THE NEWS: Pintar Investment Co. has still been active, most recently buying Laguna Design Center, a mixed-use property near the Chet Holifield Federal Building. Pintar also bought 51 acres of land in Austin, Texas, to build 171 build-to-rent homes.

QUOTABLE: “We see a tremendous opportunity to elevate the Laguna Design Center into a space that not only supports the design community and their clientele but also offers a more connected, experience-driven environment for the broader public. Having lived in Laguna Niguel for over 20 years, our community is desperate for a place where we can gather, shop, dine and connect in a convenient yet regional location that represents the lifestyle and values of our community.”
