Revitate, a Newport Beach investment platform headed by members of the locally-based Bhathal family, has tapped former Irvine Co. exec Robert Lang as managing director of commercial real estate.
Lang, who most recently led Opportunity Zone investments as chief investment officer at Platinum Storage, will oversee Revitate’s full commercial real estate portfolio, including Revitate Cherry Tree, a multifamily investment fund created last year with fellow former Irvine Co. alum, Chris Marsh.
Prior to that role, Lang spent 18 years at the Irvine Co., ultimately acting as deputy chief investment officer.
“His three-decade track record in the industry speaks for itself, and we look forward to his leadership in building out our commercial real estate activities to their fullest potential,” Revitate Executive Chairman and Managing Partner Alex Bhathal said in a statement.
