Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 was down 0.3% to 2,094.42 in midday trading.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.3% to 17,999.45 and the Nasdaq was flat at 4,896.80.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond fell 0.9% to 2.13%.

The price of gold fell 0.7% to $1,200.

HEALTHCARE

Irvine-based Masimo Corp. was up 7% to $29.29 and a $1.6 billion market cap. The medical device maker said its revenue grew 14% to about $162 million and profits were 128% higher at about $21 million in the fourth quarter. Both results bested analysts’ projections.

RESTAURANTS

Huntington Beach-based BJ’s Restaurants Inc. was up 2.8% to $46.87 and a $1.2 billion market cap. Shares are higher as the casual dining chain is set to report quarterly numbers after markets close today. The stock rose about 25% in the two days after its most recent quarterly report.
