TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based storage products maker Western Digital Corp. fell 5% to $100.90 and a market cap of $23.4 billion, dragged down by competitor Seagate Technology’s poor earnings and a lower sales forecast in its most recent quarterly report.
Aliso Viejo-based chipmaker Microsemi Corp. was up 1.5% to $28.22 and a market cap of $2.6 billion in a third of day of increases after some positive quarterly numbers. The stock is up 12% in the last three trading days.
