Mission Viejo-based CareTrust REIT Inc. was up 2.4% to $15.92 and a market cap of $356.9 million in a second day of gains after it reported quarterly funds from operations—a key measurement for REITs—of 33 cents per share, beating consensus estimates by 10%. The stock rose about 4.4% Friday.
TECHNOLOGY
Lake Forest-based Quantum Fuel Systems Tech Worldwide Inc. was up 8.8% to $4.33 and a market cap of $101 million. It said it would license software for a planned re-launch of Costa Mesa-based Fisker Automotive and Technologies Group LLC’s plug-in hybrid vehicle. Quantum said it expects the licensing agreement and other software development services to be worth $5.35 million over the next 12 months.
