TRI Pointe Group Inc. (NYSE: TPH) rose 4.5% to $13.40 a share with a $1.77 billion market cap. The Irvine-headquartered home builder was trading at less than a quarter of its average volume—600,000 shares compared to 2.7 million. The shares have doubled since mid-March when the stock dropped below $7.
RETAIL
Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE:BOOT) fell 4.7% at midday to $21.40 a share with a $614 million market cap. The Irvine-based retailer of boots and other apparel yesterday reported fourth quarter revenue and earnings that missed analyst estimates.
TECHNOLOGY
TTM Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: TTMI) descended 3.4% to $11.37 a share with a $1.2 billion market cap. Shares of the Santa Ana-based manufacturer of printed circuit boards have risen almost 30% since March 23.
