The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond jumped 1.8% to 1.73%.
The price of gold was 0.1% higher to $1,500 an ounce.
The price of oil dipped 2.6% to $55.90 a gallon.

OC developer-builders rose on JP Morgan comments that the sector has ‘modest’ upside for the rest of 2019.
TRI Pointe Group (TPH) rose 2.8% to $14.63 and a $2.1 billion market cap; William Lyon Homes (WLH) 3.3% to $19.22 and a $715 million market cap; and New Home Co. Inc. (NWHM) 3,4% to $3.92 and a $77 million market cap. All are traded on NYSE.
