Defense Department Picks Anduril for Underwater Drone

Completed longest distance demo

Anduril Industries said it has been chosen by the U.S. Defense Department to develop drones to deploy large payloads across extended ranges underwater. Financial terms were not released
Costa Mesa-based Anduril said it was chosen for the XL-AUV program by the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and the U.S. Navy.
