Midday Stock Roundup

Indices fell in midday trading as investors braced for higher interest rates and market volatility continued.

The S&P 500 declined 1.7% to 2,635.03. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 2% to 24,387.72. The Nasdaq was down 1.8% to 6,927.50.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was 0.7% higher at 2.86%.

The price of gold was 0.4% higher at $1,320.

TECHNOLOGY

TTM Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: TTMI) in Costa Mesa was down 3% to $15 and a $1.5 billion market cap. The circuit board maker provided guidance on adjust profits below Wall Street expectations.

HEALTHCARE

ChromaDex Corp. (Nasdaq: CDXC) in Irvine was up 3% to $5 and a $267 million market cap. The ingredient maker reported positive research on its flagship Niagen product, for use in treating Alzheimer’s disease.
