Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 was up 0.5% in midday trading to 2,392.91.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.5% to 20,898.61.

The NASDAQ rose 0.6% to 6,122.78.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond climbed 0.1% to 2.25%.

The price of gold was up 0.6% to $1,261.

TECHNOLOGY

Alteryx Inc. in Irvine climbed 3.1% to $18.36 and about a $1.1 billion market cap. Executives from the data analytics software maker, which went public in March, were scheduled to present today at the J.P. Morgan 45th Annual Technology, Media and Telecom Conference in Boston.

Lantronix Inc. in Irvine rose 6.5% to $2.53 and a $44 million market cap. Lantronix makes products to manage data and today introduced a beta version of a platform to simplify the delivery of Internet of Things applications.
