HEALTHCARE
San Clemente-based ICU Medical Inc. was up 6.7% to $125.35 and a $2 billion market cap. The infusion therapy device maker said it earned $16.6 million on $96.7 million in revenue in its most recent quarter, compared with earnings of $13.6 million on $83.8 million in revenue year-over-year.
SERVICES
Newport Beach-based Acacia Research Corp. was up 5.7% to $6.33 and a $319 million market cap on high volume. The patent services company by midday had traded shares at about twice its 90-day average. It said last week that a subsidiary, Parthenon Unified Memory Architecture LLC, had settled a patent license dispute with China-based ZTE Corp.
