Anduril Gets Subcontract from Palantir

Irvine-based defense and border protection company Anduril Industries said it has received a subcontract award from Palantir Technologies for the hardware system design for the U.S. Army’s Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) prototype effort. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Anduril, founded by Orange County tech entrepreneur Palmer Luckey, made the announcement in a blog posting on Medium.com earlier this week.

TITAN will connect "sensors and shooters across the air, land, sea, space and cyberspace domains so they can share targeting data in seconds," according to BreakingDefense.com.

Big-data firm Palantir was co-founded by tech billionaire Peter Thiel, a partner in the Founders Fund, which has invested in Anduril.
