Use of E-Mail by Lawyers
Survey of 200 attorneys from the nation’s largest 1,200 law firms by The Affiliates
Sixty-eight percent of attorneys said they use e-mail to communicate with clients on a daily basis, up from 42% in 1998. And 56% now say they are willing to include sensitive information in e-mail messages, vs. 35% in 1998. Only 3% said they use e-mail once a month or less, compared to 16% in 1998.
