San Juan Capistrano-based Seychelle Environmental Technologies Inc.’s portable water filtration bottle has been tested and approved by both China and Mexico.
In Mexico, the product will retail for $12 to $15. It will sell for about $7 in China. The pricings reflecting the consumer price indices in those countries. The typical U.S. retail price of the product ranges from $19.95 to $29.95.
The company is in the process of testing the water supplies in both countries, to fine-tune the filtration system for each market.
Seychelle designs, manufactures and distributes systems ranging from portable water bottles to residential units.
