Balle Investment Real Estate, Laguna Niguel, paid $1.4 million for a 6,875-square-foot retail property at 34091 Coast Highway in Dana Point acquired from Chicago-based Northern Trust Co. Bill Browne of Grubb & Ellis’ Newport Beach office represented Balle Investment. John Brusky of Coldwell Banker represented Northern Trust. A European antiques store is slated to open in December at the site.
Santa Ana-based Triple Net Properties paid $5.4 million for a 77,582-square-foot building in Temecula and $5.1 million for a 102,948-square-foot building in Las Vegas, both acquired from Kilroy Realty LP. Alan Pekarcik of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Irvine office along with Rob Mitchell and Mike Bouma of Voit’s Anaheim office brokered the two transactions.

Nature’s Best, a natural foods distributor, leased 60,964 square feet at 205 S. Puente in Brea from Centis Plastics. Ian Britton, Brad Bierbaum, Bob Goodmanson and Brian DeRevere of CB Richard Ellis represented both parties.
Applied Scholastics International, which promotes learning methods developed by L. Ron Hubbard, leased 13,694 square feet at 3501 Harbor Blvd. in Santa Ana from The John R. Saunders Trust. The 61-month contract is valued at $1.3 million. Lonnie Riddle and Chad Carlberg of Grubb & Ellis’ Orange office represented Applied Scholastics, which is relocating from Hollywood. Phil Cohen and Barry Knudson of CB Richard Ellis’ Newport Beach office represented The John R. Saunders Trust.
Software maker PTC renewed its lease for 12,000 square feet at MacArthur Court from The Irvine Company. In addition MET-Rx, which develops and markets engineered nutrition products, leased 6,000 square feet at Skypark from The Irvine Co.
Electronic Data Systems Corp. leased a 127,000-square-foot building at 10824 Hope St. in Cypress for $4.8 million from Arrow Electronics Inc. The facility is home to EDS’ recently acquired Unigraphics division. Chris Cooper and Sherie Yearton of Jones Lang La Salle represented EDS. Tustin-based DMK Inc. completed the renovation of the 20-acre Anaheim Town Square shopping center at the southeast corner of State College Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim. The $1 million project included a fa & #231;ade remodel and renovations to three groups of buildings.
