Aliso Viejo’s Quest Software Inc., a maker of software that monitors the performance of other business software programs, said its chief financial officer is leaving. Michael Lambert plans to step down Oct. 10 to take a position at another company, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Quest didn’t name the company.
Lambert held the post since 2005. He also was Quest’s principal accounting officer since 2006.
His departure isn’t related to Quest’s probe of misdated stock options, which wrapped up last month with a $143 million charge to past earnings.
