ARCHITECTURE

LPA Inc. in Irvine added three architects, Jana Itzen, Kim Hoffmaster and William Itzen. Jana Itzen will work in LPA’s civic market segment. Hoffmaster and William Itzen will work on corporate projects.


ASSOCIATIONS

Wayne Quint Jr. was re-elected president of the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs. The 1,800-member group represents sworn deputies, investigators and sergeants of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Quint also recently was named president of the California Coalition of Law Enforce-ment Associations.


CONSULTING

Accretive Solutions Inc. named George Alex-ander vice president and market leader. Alexander previously was at Alexander Consulting LLC, which he started in 2007.


FINANCE

William Borland joined Strategic Global Advisors’ advisory board in Newport Beach. Borland recently retired from Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.’s Russell Investment Group as managing director of sales, service and relationship management.

Irvine-based Global Creditors Network added Jonathan Sigal as senior vice president of credit management. He will develop sales and manage external sales people. Sigal formerly was a senior vice president at Orange County Business Bank and Security Business Bank of San Diego.

Laguna Niguel’s John Grauten was promoted from regional president for Southern California to regional president for all of California at Missouri-based First Bank. Prior to joining First Bank, Grauten spent more than 30 years with Bank of America Corp.


HEALTHCARE

Jaime Ojeda joined Patient Care Technology Systems LLC in Mission Viejo as vice president of sales and business development. Ojeda formerly was at 3M Co., where he was responsible for planning and business development for 3M’s track and trace solutions division. Patient Care makes software for hospitals.


HOTELS

Island Hotel Newport Beach named Renee Tao as director of transient sales. Tao will oversee corporate and leisure sales for the Newport Beach hotel, serving as the primary contact for travel agents, wholesale pro-viders and corporate travelers.


INSURANCE

The Automobile Club of Southern California named Alice Bisno senior vice president for public affairs and a staff officer. Bisno will supervise public affairs activities in Southern California and lead the Auto Club’s regulatory affairs activities for its insurance companies. She will be working out of its Costa Mesa headquarters.


LAW

Dorsey & Whitney LLP named Sara McKibben manager of marketing and business development for its Irvine office. McKibben previously directed the marketing and business development efforts of Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP in Irvine. She is the president of the Southern California chapter of the Legal Marketing Association.

Kevin Espinola joined the Irvine office of Jones Day as a partner. Espinola is the 10th lateral partner in Irvine and the 38th lateral partner to join one of Jones Day’s five California offices since the start of 2007. He previously was a corporate partner at Latham & Watkins LLP’s Costa Mesa office.


MARKETING

Money Mailer LLC in Garden Grove hired John Gramata as director of marketing analytics. Gramata is responsible for designing tests to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and creating complex database models for designing viable mailing zones and franchise territories. He most recently was a senior database marketing analyst at Harte-Hanks Inc.


REAL ESTATE

Rick Peters started consulting firm RE Peters Co. He most recently was director of construction at Fieldstone Communities Inc. Peters was a board member with the Home Builders Council/Building Industry Associa-tion of Southern California and co-managed one of the largest Habitat for Humanity projects to date in Southern California.

Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. promoted Jaime Chandler from district manager to director of project development at the Irvine office. Chandler is responsible for overseeing the development department and architectural desk. She is working toward achieving her professional community association manager designation.

KBS Realty Advisors LLC hired Robert Durand as vice president of financing and mortgage originations for the Newport Beach-based company. Durand previously was at JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s commercial mortgage-backed securities group. He will be responsible for developing lending relationships and negotiating and closing financing.


TECHNOLOGY

VLSystems of Irvine hired Brad Godwin as director of sales. Godwin is responsible for building and managing the sales team.
