Bob Mitchell has been named director of sales of the Montage Resort & Spa in Laguna Beach. He previously was director of sales at The Phoenician resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. Also at the Montage, Christopher Coon, an advanced sommelier, has been named wine director. Previously, he was the cellar master at The Phoenician.
Leanne Nix-De Jesus has been named director of human resources at the Hilton Anaheim. Also Robert Wilson was appointed the director of technology and communications. Rosa Magruder was appointed to the hotel’s team of catering managers. Mindy Inouye joined the hotel as its sales manager responsible for hotel’s travel industry markets in Asia and the Far East.

Jody A. Gunderson has been selected senior vice president and will direct the relationship management team of Santa Ana-based Safeco Financial Institution Solutions. She will be in charge of leading sales efforts.
