ARCHITECTURE

Robbins Jorgensen Christopher, Newport Beach, appointed Kristine Steffen director of interior design. Steffen has more than 14 years of architecture and design experience, with expertise in the corporate, entertainment and hospitality sectors. Steffen will oversee clients such as California State Polytechnic University Pomona and Coronado City Hall and Community Center.


BANKING

Citizens Business Bank has named Douglas Wolfe vice president and banking officer of its Orange County office in Orange. Wolfe previously was chief financial officer for Everlasting Gardens Inc., a botanical company in Huntington Beach. He has more than 17 years of experience in banking.

Troy A. Franzen recently joined Comerica Bank’s private banking department as vice president covering Orange and San Diego counties. Most recently, Franzen worked as a financial adviser in Irvine and Beverly Hills, specializing in advanced estate planning and wealth management. He will be working in Comerica’s Costa Mesa office.


BUSINESS SERVICES

First American Corp., Santa Ana, appointed Roger S. Hull senior vice president and chief financial officer. Hull joined First American in 1998 as senior technology officer for the company’s First American Title Insurance Co. subsidiary. He also was that unit’s chief information officer.

National Survey Systems, Irvine, appointed Fernanda Martinez manager of national accounts. Martinez started with the company in 1989 and has worked in operations, customer service and marketing.


CONSTRUCTION

Costa Mesa-based Andrew L. Youngquist Construction Inc. hired Lorraine Herren as project engineer and Christopher Peterson as assistant project engineer. Herren previously was a construction administrator and junior construction manager for PM Realty Group/Insignia. Peterson was a junior project engineer and logistics manager at S.J. Amoroso Construction Inc.


HEALTHCARE

Internal medicine physician Dr. Lori Hickson recently started practicing with the Newport Center Medical Group. Hickson is a 1996 graduate of Chicago Medical School and is board certified in internal medicine. The group has offices in Newport Center.

Emergency Ambulance Services has named Chad Druten director of government affairs. Druten will oversee the company’s public affairs outreach and community relations efforts. Emergency Ambulance Services covers Los Angeles and Orange counties.


LAW

William Rooklidge, managing partner of Howrey Simon Arnold & White, Irvine, has been elected second vice president of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Meanwhile, partner Martha Gooding was appointed to the board of the Orange County chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Additionally, senior associate Yuri Mikulka was elected co-chair of the woman advocate committee of the litigation section of the American Bar Association.


MARKETING

USMotivation, a performance improvement and incentive marketing company, hired Dave Terrell as account executive. Terrell has worked in the industry for 17 years and will be based in Newport Beach.


MEDIA

Josh Kirschenbaum has joined the creative staff of Stun Gun, Irvine. The company provides creative editorial, visual effects and color correction for commercial and broadcast television. Kirschenbaum previously worked for Crazy Horse Editorial in Santa Monica.


REAL ESTATE

Coldwell Banker Orange County named Peter Hernandez president. Hernandez will be responsible for 19 offices and nearly 1,000 sales associates throughout the county. He has been with Coldwell Banker since 1997 and will be based in the firm’s Mission Viejo office.

Monique Figueroa has been hired as research manager for the American Industrial Real Estate Association’s Orange County office in Orange. Figueroa most recently worked at The Smith Guide, where she was vice president and general manager.

Steven Pelletier has joined Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services as a senior vice president in the firm’s Orange office. He also was elected to the company’s board of directors. Previously, Pelletier worked at CB Richard Ellis, which he joined in 1993.


SPORTS

American Golf-operated Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton has named Mike Orloff general manager and Brian Shearan head golf professional. Orloff previously was general manager at Robina Woods Golf Course and Paradise Springs Golf Course in Australia. Shearan has taught at Coyote Hills for four years and has worked for American Golf since 1992.
