Jason Briscoe, an associate architect at the Newport Beach office of Rossetti Jorgensen, was appointed vice president and president-elect to the board of the American Institute of Architects, Orange County.

The Irvine office of Tatum LLC, an executive services and consulting company, added four people: Paul Iacono, Jim Buxbaum, David Faulds and Rick Ramirez as partners.
EDUCATION
Concordia University in Irvine hired Colette York as consultant and interim director of the school’s new nursing program. York taught and developed graduate programs at Mount St. Mary’s College, El Camino Community College, California State University, Bakersfield, and Clarkson College in Omaha.
HEALTHCARE
Kim Heximer was promoted to senior general manager of Vitas Innovative Hospice Care in Irvine. Heximer joined Vitas in 2002 as general manager. She has almost 20 years of experience in healthcare.
INSURANCE
Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, an insurance and consulting company, added Lynda Badum as a senior consultant to its Aliso Viejo office. Badum has more than 21 years of consulting, client management and benefits experience.
MEDIA
Freedom Orange County Information, publisher of the Orange County Register and other publications, hired Gary Tackett as director of automotive advertising and promoted Lynnette Canedy to sales director of key accounts.
NONPROFIT
Orange Elderly Services Inc. appointed six members to its board: Pat Buttress, Bonnie Hagan, Larry Labrado, F. Richard Manzano, Lori Nadeau and Ali Parvaneh. The Orange-based nonprofit manages several local programs and services, including Orange Meals on Wheels.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
The Irvine office of MWW Group hired Talia Ron as an associate account executive and Fabrieanna Rezayat as an account coordinator. Ron previously was with Beck Media & Marketing. Rezayat was a marketing and public relations associate at VU, a photography marketing agency.
REAL ESTATE
Kris Mooney was named manager of the Laguna Niguel office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Mooney formerly was manager of the Hollywood Hills office in Los Angeles. She has 18 years of experience in residential real estate.
George Thomson joined Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services’ Orange office as a principal and shareholder. Thomson’s company, Westbridge Realty Advisors, combined with Lee & Associates.
Jack Hopkins and Michael Woolbright were promoted to senior investment associates at the Newport Beach office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co. Hopkins and Woolbright were formerly sales agents specializing in retail deals.
RETAIL
Mission Viejo’s Global Discoveries, which sells wine products, corporate gifts and other items, added Scott Wille as an account executive of the wine accessories division for Southern California. Wille has 20 years of experience in sales and sales management.
TECHNOLOGY
Cingular Wireless appointed Andy Shibley as vice president and general manager of the Southern California region. Shibley will oversee OC, Los Angeles, Kern, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. He most recently was vice president and general manager of the south Texas region for Cingular. He has close to 20 years of experience in telecommunications.
Sendio Inc., an anti-spam software company in Newport Beach, named Kelly Anderson chief executive. Anderson has experience in sales and marketing working for Nortel Networks, GoRemote Internet Communications and IP3 Networks.
Aliso Viejo-based storage device maker SiliconSystems Inc. promoted Gary Drossel to vice president of product planning and hired Tim Leary as vice president of marketing. Drossel joined the company in 2004 as director of product marketing. Leary was cofounder and managing director of South Pointe Partners Inc.
