Thomas Rogers joined the board for Irvine-based Plaza Bank. Rogers has a long background in commercial banking, most recently as executive vice president of City National Bank’s Southern Region of Orange County. He also serves as chairman of the board of Memorial Health Services and is a board member of the South Coast Repertory.
Priti Mora was promoted to private banker at the Aliso Viejo branch of Wells Fargo. Mora began her career at Wells Fargo as a teller in 2001. Her most recent position was personal banker at the San Clemente branch. In her new role, she will manage investments for clients.
CONSULTING
Fleur de lys Events LLC hired Terri Schaeffer as vice president of its event planning team in Rancho Santa Margarita. Schaeffer has more than 30 years of hospitality and event planning experience and most recently worked with McCormick and Sch-mick’s in Irvine.
FINANCE
Christopher Del Moral-Niles was nominated to president of First American Trust FSB in Santa Ana. Niles will retain his position as corporate vice president for First American Corp. after he takes the board position in October. His duties will include the daily management of depository and wealth activities. He will also serve as a board member for First American Trust.
HEALTHCARE
Renaissance Surgical Arts at Newport Harbor named Michael Sundine the physician representative to its board. Sundine is a board certified plastic surgeon in Newport Beach and specializes in cosmetic and face and head surgery. He also is president of the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons and chief of pediatric plastic surgery at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
INSURANCE
The Insurance Educational Association in Santa Ana added Jack Reddy, Guy Avagliano, Louis Castoria and William Riedley to its board. Reddy is senior vice president of human resources for San Antonio, Texas-based Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. Avagliano is a principal and consulting actuary of Milliman in San Francisco. Castoria is the assistant managing partner of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP in San Francisco. Riedley is assistant vice president of commercial risk management for Farmers Insurance Group in Los Angeles.
LAW
Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP added Melinda Luthin to its OC office. Luthin will be part of the firm’s real estate and environmental litigation practice group and will specialize in eminent domain litigation. Prior to joining Luce Forward, she was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP.
Roger Cohen joined Irvine-based Strategic Legal Systems as chairman and senior legal process consultant. Cohen has more than 20 years experience as a corporate and workout attorney.
NONPROFIT
Camp Fire USA Orange County Council has elected John Heffernan, Salisa Kovittamakron, Lizz Mishreki and Stephanie Peel to its board. Heffernan is the director of external affairs at AT & T; Inc.’s local office. Kovittamakron is the senior branch operation officer for HSBC Bank USA NA in Garden Grove. Mishreki owns a public relations management and consulting firm. Peel is a certified public accountant for Pricewater-houseCoopers LLP.
Michael Chilleen was appointed to the board for OC on Track. Chilleen is an attorney specializing in employment litigation at the Irvine offices of Greenberg Traurig LLP. Before his civil practice, Chilleen worked for the Orange County Public Defender’s office.
REAL ESTATE
Ryan Ramstack joined Irvine-based Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. as a community association manager. He will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing association communities throughout OC.
TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based Quub named Paul Dorish to its advisory board. Dorish is a professor of informatics at the University of California, Irvine. He is one of three founding members of the advisory board for Quub, which specializes in technology that enables continuous status updates.
TRANSPORTATION
Peter Riddell joined NVC Logistics Group in Brea as vice president of sales. His responsibilities will include business development and sales operations for both NVC Direct, which manages business transportation, and NVC Express, which provides warehousing and local transportation. Prior to NVC Riddell held several sales management roles, with an emphasis in home delivery.
