ARCHITECTURE

The Newport Beach office of Robbins Jorgensen Chrisopher Inc. of San Diego, a planning and interior design firm, hired Hilton C. Heyes.

BANKING

Dean G. Haidl Jr. was appointed senior vice president and manger of small business lending at PriVest Bank in Santa Ana.

CONSTRUCTION

Florida-based The Hask-ell Co. selected Michael Helton, current director of the company’s aviation division, to lead its Western regional office in Newport Beach.

Roel Construction Co. of Irvine promoted Betty Lynn Senes from project manager to group manager for its Orange County office.

CONSULTING

Robert P. Rusby joined The Planning Center of Costa Mesa as director of environmental services. The Planning Center is a consulting firm for public and private clients.

EDUCATION

Disneyland Resort Chief Financial Officer Marilyn Alexander was appointed to Chapman University’s board of governors.

FINANCE

Christopher John Bissonnette has been named vice president in the Southwest division of AXA Advisors LLC. Bissonnette has management responsibilities for his district.

Stephen Estelle has joined the staff of The Pension Group Inc. of Irvine as administration and compliance manager, a senior management position. Also, Milton Heber joined The Pension Group staff as a case manager. The Pension Group specializes in pension plan consulting, design and administration of pension plans and retirement savings programs.

INSURANCE

Veterinarian Aine McCarthy joined Veterinary Pet Insurance Co. of Brea as director of veterinary services, bringing a combination of animal practice experience and a background in pet health marketing.

LAW

Jeffrey K. Garfinkle has joined Los Angeles-based Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger. Garfinkle will work out of the firm’s Newport Beach office and will be a member of its 18-member insolvency practice group. He was a former senior counsel at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP.

MARKETING

The Legal Marketing Association’s Southern California chapter announced its newly elected board of directors. The new board includes Kevin W. Brown, Katherine Curriden, Eunice Fajardo, Paul Fortman, Ellen Friedmann, Maureen Geudtner, Charles Schmidt and Donna Wildes. The organization is for attorneys and others interested in law firm marketing issues.

Michele Morris was promoted to senior account executive at Newport Beach-based Hayes Martin Associates Inc.

NONPROFIT

The Orange County affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation promoted volunteer manager Julie Reed to development manager for the $1.5 million nonprofit health organization.

Attorney Andrea Elliott was appointed to the board of directors of the Protocol Foundation of Orange County, a private sector group that supports global business. She is senior foreign attorney for Newport Beach-based Global Visa Solutions LLC, which coordinates the procurement of foreign work permits and visas.

REAL ESTATE

Gregory S. Edwards has been appointed chief financial officer for Rancho Mission Viejo LLC. Rancho Mission Viejo is a developer as well as cattle ranch and farm.

Jeff Saywitz rejoined The Saywitz Co. as a vice president. Saywitz, based in Newport Beach, is a national real estate brokerage and consultant.

Four community association managers have joined Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc., an Irvine-based property management firm: Cheryl. L. Masters, Francis Hosana, Kathleen Malone and Kathy Bolin.

SERVICES

Accountant John S. Poth joined the audit and business advisory service group of Haskell & White LLP of Irvine as a principal.

TECHNOLOGY

ITT Industries, Cannon, in Santa Ana named Randy Gorrell vice president and director of human resources. The electronics maker is a unit of White Plains, N.Y.-based ITT Industries Inc.
