ACCOUNTING

Michael Lucki relocated to Ernst & Young International’s Irvine office. Lucki, who joined Ernst & Young in 1979 and was named partner in 1989, was in the company’s Los Angeles office. He is a frequent lecturer and author on engineering and construction accounting issues.

ARCHITECTURE

John McNichol has joined the Tustin office at Greenberg Farrow Architecture Inc. as a civil engineer project manager.

CONSTRUCTION

Irvine-based Dolan Construction Co. Inc. appointed Rich Bartle director of operations. He has 24 years experience in the commercial construction industry. Prior to working for Dolan, Bartle was director of operations at RAS Builders.

ELECTRONICS

Cypress-based Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA Inc. promoted Cayce Blanchard to vice president of corporate communications. Blanchard will lead all communications activities for the company and serve as the main communications liaison between Mitsubishi Electric’s corporate headquarters in Japan and its U.S. operations. She had directed corporate communications at Mitsubishi since 2000. Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric, Blanchard was director of strategic planning and corporate relations at Tecstar Inc. in Industry and was the director of marketing services and communications at Irvine-based Fluor Corp.

ENGINEERING

Anaheim-based Willdan Group of Cos. appointed Ross Khiabani as president and chief executive of its Arroyo Geotechnical unit. For the past 20 years, Khiabani was president and chief executive for Leighton Consulting Inc. in Irvine.

ENTERTAINMENT

Taco Bell Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana appointed Joe Adams president. Adams, who was named as the center’s chief operating officer in March of this year, will oversee planning for its next expansion phase in addition to continuing his role in directing the management of the center’s facility and staff. Adams replaces former president Karen Johnson, who retired in June. He joined Discovery Science Center after five-years with the Walt Disney Co. in Anaheim, where he worked as a program manager in the company’s resort program management unit.

HEALTHCARE

St. Joseph Hospital of Orange named Dr. Jay K. Harness as medical director of its Comprehensive Breast Center. Harness has experience in the fields of surgical oncology, diseases of the breast and breast ultrasound. He’s a member of the American College of Surgeons National Ultrasound Faculty and chairman of the board of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

LAW

Steven Biegenzahn joined Costa Mesa-based Albert, Weiland & Golden LLP as an of counsel attorney. Biegenzahn, who began his legal career as a judge advocate general in the Marine Corps, previously headed his own firm in San Fernando Valley.

REAL ESTATE

Thomas Thompson was named executive vice president and director of investment services for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp.’s commercial unit in Newport Beach, a subsidiary of Real Estate Partners Inc. He has nearly 30 years experience as a real estate executive and broker.

RE/MAX International Inc. appointed James “Jim” Batlle senior director of the site selection services division of RE/MAX’s commercial office in Newport Beach.

Irvine-based RiverRock Real Estate Group named Paula Mathews as general manager. Mathews was regional vice president for Charles Dunn Co. prior to joining RiverRock. She has 25 years of experience in asset and portfolio management.

Kimberly Haller joined Tustin’s Coreland Cos. as human resources manager. Haller, who has 15 years of experience in human resources management positions, recently finished a seven-year stint as human resources manager for Imaging Center Management Inc.

SERVICES

Judith Trainor was named partner at Irvine-based Barry M. Gold & Co. She has been with the executive search company for eight years.

Prior to working with Barry M. Gold, Trainor worked in the legal and real estate industries.
