Eagle Community Credit Union named Jimi Washington manager of its Lake Forest branch.
EDUCATION
Jerry E. Mandel was named to the board of Orange County High School of the Arts in Santa Ana. Mandel is vice chairman of the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
FINANCE
Beacon Pointe Advisors LLC in Newport Beach made the following promotions: Jason Overholtzer to senior analyst from key investment analyst; Andrea Thibault to investment analyst from account service and administration; and Tara Smith to project manager and coordinator in the marketing department.
GOVERNMENT
The city of Anaheim Redevelopment Agency named Abel Avalos affordable housing project manager. This is Avalos’ second term with the city, the first having been with the Public Utilities Department and Community Development Department.
Ken Maddox, a former state assemblyman, has formed Maddox Government Relations in Dana Point. The company provides issue advocacy and campaign communications. Maddox most recently served as director of state government relations at Sheldon Group in Newport Beach.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Freedom Innovations Inc., a maker of prosthetics, named Marvin McKinney regional sales manager. McKinney formerly was a member of the original sales team at Flexfoot.
INSURANCE
Michael Finn joined Garrett Mosier Insurance Services Inc. as account executive at its Irvine headquarters. Finn most recently was middle market client adviser at Marsh Risk & Insurance Services Inc. in Newport Beach.
LAW
Ross, Dixon & Bell LLP added Mohammed Ghods as partner at the firm’s Irvine office. Ghods’ experience includes transaction and commercial litigation.
TJ Singh, partner at Klein, O’Neill & Singh LLP in Irvine, was named to the executive committee of the State Bar of California, Intellectual Property Section. Singh also is chairman of the intellectual property section for the Orange County Bar Association and director on the board of the Orange County Patent Law Association.
Kimberly Chen Nobles, partner at Crowell & Moring LLP’s Irvine law office, was appointed to the board of the Singapore-American Business Association. The group promotes business relationships among the U.S., Singapore and the Pacific Rim.

Stuart Beck was hired as director of the development group at Western National Realty Advisors, a unit of Irvine-based Western National Group. Beck previously was architectural coordinator at Warmington Homes, a unit of Costa Mesa’s Warmington Group.
Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Pulte Homes Inc. appointed Lisa Pereira as director of marketing for the Orange County and South Riverside division at its Irvine office. Pereira most recently was director of sales and marketing at the Olson Co.
