Irvine-based Trinet Internet Solutions Inc. hired Matthew Easton as a brand extension specialist. Trinet provides Web services, including designing Web sites and site hosting.
Aaron Jackson was added as director of Dechert-Hampe & Co., a sales and marketing consulting company in Mission Viejo.
EDUCATION
Katherine Kantardjieff, director of California State University, Fullerton’s W.M. Keck Foundation Center for Molecular Structure and a professor of chemistry and biochemistry, was selected to serve a three-year term as vice chair of the U.S. National Committee for Crystallography. Crystallography uses X-ray diffraction to determine the configuration of large molecules, such as proteins.

West Coast Radiology Centers named Matt Albers chief executive of its outpatient imaging centers, breast centers, Western Medical Center in Santa Ana and Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center.

Jo Sargent will head the new personal lines department of Irvine-based R.E. Chaix & Associates Insurance Brokers Inc.

James R. Moss Jr. became a principal attorney in the Irvine office of Payne & Fears LLP.
Hein & Associates LLP promoted Jennifer L. Cooney to partner in the audit department of its Irvine office.
Jeffrey I. Golden, a founding partner of Costa Mesa-based law firm Weiland, Golden, Smiley, Wang, Ekvall & Strok LLP, was appointed to co-editor in chief of the California Bankruptcy Journal in Costa Mesa.

Goodwill of OC named Scott Mueller to the newly created position of recycling program manager.
OC United Way elected the following people to its board: Douglas P. McCombs as chair, Rosemary Turner as vice chair, Nicholas Reichert as treasurer and Al DeGrassi as secretary. United Way also elected as members: Peter Case, James P. Kolar, Thomas M. McGee, Robert Palmer, Nella Webster and Paul Pulver.
Michelle Dickinson was hired as executive director for the Assessment and Treatment Services Center in Newport Beach. Assessment and Treatment Services Center also added the following to its board: John Edward Hayashida, Linda Kelly, Roberta Mahler, Susan Niedwick and Diane Pardue.
The OC chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association appointed Michael Haggin to development director. In addition, Kevin Bigelow and Martin Furman joined the board of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Costa Mesa-based Mind Institute, a nonprofit education researcher and software developer, hired Toni Morgan as director of marketing. Morgan has more than 30 years of experience in developing and marketing products for kindergarten through 12th grade education.

St. Louis-based McCarthy Building Cos. hired Roger O. Williams as director of business development for its Southern California division in Newport Beach.
Los Angeles-based Rexford Industrial promoted John Caley to executive vice president. He previously served as senior vice president of acquisitions and was responsible for purchasing industrial property throughout OC, San Diego and Riverside counties. Caley will continue in his acquisitions role while becoming more involved in regional oversight and strategic planning for Rexford.
Newport Beach-based Saywitz Co., a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting company, promoted Andrew Herron and Scot Kelly to vice presidents, brokerage services.
Newport Beach-based homebuilder John Laing Homes named Richard Rodriguez as senior vice president of operations and process.
Jan Debay, former Newport Beach mayor and councilwoman, joined San Diego-based Prudential California Realty’s architectural collection division for Newport Beach.
Aliso Viejo-based Merit Cos. promoted Jeff Leane to assistant vice president of its Merit Association Services Inc. Merit also hired Jon Lai as director of information systems for its corporate, regional and on-site user base. Bill Turner was named financial services manager.
Santa Ana-based RiverRock Real Estate Group, a commercial real estate management and leasing company, appointed Salley Vogel to managing director of its newly formed retail group.
Matt Moore joined Encino-based NAI Capital Commercial Real Estate Services as senior associate in the Newport Beach office.

Huntington Beach-based TMS Moving & Storage LLC hired Janice Burgess as director of sales. Burgess has more than 10 years of experience in worldwide moving, along with additional experience in large corporate relocations.
SPORTS
Zack Wallace has been named president of the National Basketball Association’s Develop-ment League franchise for Anaheim. The team, which is yet to be named, is a minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Clippers.
TECHNOLOGY
Orange-based SRC, a developer of business software, appointed Paul Evans to vice president of sales and Jack Proehl to director of field sales. SRC also hired Mark Samardich as director of business development.
Gil Ledesma was promoted to president of JMG Security Systems in Fountain Valley. Ledesma has been with the company since 1996.

Laguna Beach Visitors & Conference Bureau hired Ashley Johnson as marketing coordinator.
TRANSPORTATION
OCTA named John Byrd as general manager of transit operations. Byrd will oversee the operation of the transportation authority’s paratransit service for seniors and the disabled, as well as OCTA’s countywide bus system.
