Quiksilver Inc., Huntington Beach, reported earnings of $11.3 million on revenue of $142.1 million for the second fiscal quarter ended April 30, compared with earnings of $9.7 million on revenue of $128.1 million in the previous second quarter. For the six-month period, the company posted earnings of $15.4 million on revenue of $242.1 million, compared with earnings of $13.1 million on revenue of $214.1 million in the prior-year period.

Irvine-based St. Johns Knits International Inc. reported earnings of $5.3 million on sales of $85.2 million for the fiscal second quarter ended April 30, compared with earnings of $8.3 million on sales of $78.2 million for the previous second quarter. For the six months ended April 30, the company reported earnings of $9 million on sales of $164.8 million, compared with earnings of $14 million on sales of $151.6 million in the year-ago period.

Cooper Companies Inc., Lake Forest, reported earnings of $6.8 million on total sales of $50.8 million for the second quarter ended April 30, compared with earnings of $7.1 million on total sales of $41.7 million for the second quarter of 1999. For the six-month period, the company posted earnings of $11.2 million on revenue of $91.2 million, compared with earnings of $11 million on revenue of $76.7 million in the prior-year period.

Anaheim-based Bridgford Foods Corp. reported earnings of $2.4 million on sales of $36.8 million for the fiscal second quarter ended April 28, compared with earnings of $2.6 million on sales of $33.1 million for the prior second quarter. For the six-month period, the company posted earnings of $4.8 million on sales of $77.2 million, compared with earnings of $5.2 million on sales of $69.7 million in the prior-year period.

Irvine-based Barbeques Galore Ltd. reported a net loss of $0.82million on total sales of $34.7 million for the first fiscal quarter ended April 30, compared with a net loss of $0.85 million on sales of $29.6 million for the previous first quarter.

Amplicon Inc., Santa Ana, posted earnings of $5.3 million on revenue of $19.9 million for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31, compared with earnings of $4.8 million on revenue of $16.7 million for the previous third quarter. For the nine-month period, the company posted earnings of $15 on revenue of $54.7, compared with earnings of $14.6 on revenue of $51.6 for prior-year period.

Irvine-based Procom Technology Inc. reported a $2.5 million net loss on sales of $13.8 million for the third fiscal quarter ended April 30, compared with earnings of $0.02 million on sales of $23.9 million for the previous third quarter. For the nine-month period, the company posted a net loss of $6.7 million on revenue of $49.1 million, compared with a net loss of $1.5 million on revenue of $77.1 million in the prior-year period.

General Automation Inc., Irvine, reported a net loss of $1 million on total sales of $5.6 million for the second quarter ended March 31, compared with earnings of $0.2 million on total sales of $7.6 million for the previous second quarter.

Cardiac Science Inc., Irvine, reported a $2.7 million net loss on sales of $0.6 million for the first quarter ended March 31, compared with a $1.2 million net loss on no revenue for the previous first quarter.

Laguna Niguel-based Optimumcare Corp. reported earnings of $0.1 million on total sales of $2.1 million for the first quarter ended March 31, compared with earnings of $0.1 million on revenue of $2.5 million for the first quarter of 1999.

AlphaServ.com, Santa Ana, reported a net loss of $0.2 million on total sales of $4.6 million for the first quarter ended March 31, compared with a $0.8 million net loss on total sales of $9.6 million in the first quarter of 1999.

Irvine-based Endocare Inc. reported a net loss of $3.0 million on total sales of $1.1 million for the first quarter ended March 31, compared with a $1.8 million net loss on total sales of $0.4 million for the previous first quarter.

Irvine-based STM Wireless Inc. reported a net loss of $2.5 million on revenue of $3.8 million for the first quarter ended March 31, compared with a $8.4 million net loss on revenue of $3.1 million for the previous first quarter.

Yorba Linda-based NetGuru Inc. reported a net loss of $0.4 million on sales of $6.9 million for the fourth quarter ended March 31, compared with a net loss of $0.2 million on sales of $3.3 million for the same period last year. For the year ended March 31, the company posted a net loss of $1.4 million on total sales of $19.9 million, compared with a net loss $0.5 million on $10.7 million in sales for the previous year.
