Clearlake Capital Group L.P. and TA Associates have agreed to acquire Irvine-based software company Kofax from Thoma Bravo. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Clearlake and TA offer industry knowledge and experience scaling enterprise software companies like ours,” said Reynolds Bish, CEO of Kofax.
Upon closing of the transaction, Clearlake and TA will become majority shareholders in Kofax.
Kofax software products speed up the handling of documents and invoices.
Private equity firm Thoma Bravo bought Kofax in in 2017. Thoma has offices in San Francisco and Chicago.
