Dallas Haun, regional senior vice president overseeing City National Bank’s Orange County and Long Beach/South Bay regions, was given the additional responsibility of heading up the San Diego Commercial Banking Region and was appointed to the bank’s executive committee. Haun reports to the bank’s president, George Benter. Haun takes over the executive management oversight duties of the San Diego region from Bob Brant, an executive vice president who is overseeing City National’s newly created Northern California region.
Haun’s goals are to carry on the bank’s tradition of relationship banking while digesting the bank’s acquisitions and managing growth. City National recently acquired North American Trust Co. and opened three new offices in San Diego. In Orange County, the bank last year opened an office in the Irvine Spectrum to serve high-technology customers.
Haun was president and chief operating officer at Harbor Bank until it merged with City National in 1998.
He is a member of the Long Beach Economic Development Commission, the Orange County United Way and the UCI Executive Roundtable and is on the boards of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Council of the Boy Scouts of America-Long Beach.
Haun lives in Long Beach with his wife, Michelle, and children: Charlotte, 10; Faye, 8; and Dallas IV, 3. He enjoys golf and spending time with his family.
