Airshow Inc., a Tustin-based provider of in-flight information and entertainment systems, introduced last week the iSYS Intelligent Cabin Systems that will enable passengers to customize and control all on-board amenities from their seats.
This system comprises products that provide news updates, moving map displays, and audio/visual systems. It also provides a secure means of using email in flight. Users can operate iSYS by means of touchscreens, remote controls or switches.
The company also unveiled the iGO Component System, for aircraft owners seeking to upgrade existing cabin entertainment systems. iGo is easy to install and can integrate up to eight entertainment sources, including VCRs, cameras and DVD players. It will be available beginning June 1.
