Affordable Housing Co. Buys Garden Grove Property for $15.5M

Sungrove Senior property exchanges for $189,024 per unit

An 82-unit apartment property in Garden Grove is now owned by the Foundation of Affordable Housing.

The Oregon-based builder and manager of affordable housing properties in the Western U.S. bought the 73,748-square-foot Sungrove Senior Apartment Homes at 12811 Garden Grove Blvd., Garden Grove, for $15.5 million, or $189,024 per unit, according to CoStar.

The seller was Gardena-based Highridge Costa Development Co.

Sungrove Senior Apartment Homes was built in 1979 and features 66 one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom units.
