Business Journal Postpones Award Events

The Business Journal is postponing its next two signature events, following new recommendations from California public health officials to limit large public gatherings.

The annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards luncheon event, scheduled for March 19, has been postponed, along with the Women in Business Awards event, which was originally slated for April 30.

New dates for both events, which each draw more than 500 attendees and are held at Hotel Irvine, will be provided in the coming weeks.

State health officials yesterday recommended that non-essential gatherings in California should be limited to no more than 250 people, to protect public health and slow the spread of COVID-19.
