Laguna Beach-based advertising agency Gigasavvy has been acquired by the Boise-based Drake Cooper ad firm this month.
Gigasavvy, founded in 2008, worked with Toshiba, AAA, FlexFit, and HI-CHEW maker Morinaga America. The firm will merge and operate under the Drake Cooper name going forward.
“This partnership creates exciting opportunities for our clients to tap into broader expertise and for our people to grow inside of a larger organization,” said founding partner and former president Kyle Johnston, who joins the newly formed agency as executive director, integration.
Financial details were not disclosed. The Orange County office will continue operating, expanding Drake Cooper’s footprint in Southern California, the company said in a statement.
Gigasavvy ranked as No. 13 among Orange County’s largest ad agencies this year with 2025 revenue of $11.1 million. The firm reported 12 employees as of February.
