True Drinks Holdings Inc. of Costa Mesa changed its name to Charlie’s Holdings Inc. and received approval for a ticker symbol change from TRUU to CHUC as of July 3.
Charlie’s Holdings said in a statement the changes reflect its “shift in focus from the beverage space into the vapor and e-liquid space through its industry-leading brands Charlie’s Chalk Dust and Pachamama.”
Toba Capital founder Vinny Smith, is a big investor in the company, which has a market value of about $62 million.
In addition to the name change, the company increased its authorized common shares from 7 billion to 50 billion.
