Genesis Motor America Inc., the luxury vehicle division of Hyundai Motor Group, reported July sales increased 0.4%, led by its SUVs and compact SUVs.
The Fountain Valley company, Orange County’s eighth-largest automaker by employee count, said it sold 5,203 vehicles last month.
Sales for its GV70 compact SUV, which was the 2022 MotorTrend SUV of the Year, rose 8.3% to 1,698 units.
The company’s biggest-selling vehicle, the GV80 SUV, declined 7.2% to 1,774 units.
Sales for the G80 sedan fell 52% to 283 units.
