Accounting

John A. Eckweiler was promoted to tax partner at the Orange County office of Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP, Certified Public Accountants & Management Consultants. Eckweiler has 13 years of experience in tax planning, research and compliance services. His expertise includes dealing with federal, state and local taxing authorities.

Gary Frederickson was named studio manager and senior designer at advertising agency Lawrence, Mayo & Ponder. Frederickson will manage the agency’s studio, which implements strategic designs for social marketing and lifestyle clients.


Marketing and Public Relations

Curt Pringle & Associates, an Irvine-based PR and consulting firm, has added Tim Taylor and Lysa Ray to its staff; Taylor will be based in the new Sacramento office.


NONPROFITS

Heather Banuelos was promoted to program director of victim services at Community Service Programs Inc. in Santa Ana. Banuelos has worked with CSP for the past year as the supervisor of the Harbor Justice Center Victim/Witness Assistance Center.

Jeff Barton was named to the board of directors for the Child Guidance Center in Santa Ana.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society named Bill Bisch Orange County chairman of the board. Bisch, a former corporate executive with R.R. Donnelley & Sons, was diagnosed with MS in 1995.

South Coast Metro Alliance installed the 2001 board of directors: Phil Matchett, president; Paul Freeman, vice president; Janne Clare, treasurer; Joe Gomez, secretary; and Kevin Hauber and George Sakioka as past presidents.

Maria E. Minon was selected to chair the Children and Families Commission of Orange County. Minon, vice president of medical affairs for Children’s Hospital of Orange County, previously was vice president of the commission.

Dean Davisson, a public relations and meeting planner consultant, Eva Lennen, a family counselor and Eric Ross, MD, were named to the board of directors of the Council of Aging-Orange County.

Frank Nolan was appointed director of development for Wycliffe Associates U.S.A., a bible translating company.


REAL ESTATE

Madison Marquette Retail Services promoted Nina Robinson to director of marketing for the Irvine portfolio. She will oversee retail consumer and leasing marketing efforts at Fashion Island and the Irvine Spectrum.

Leslie Giordano and Holly Guerin joined Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc., Irvine. W. Bre Fordney joined the company as project management associate.

Steven Cameron was promoted to president of the Orange County metro division of Fieldstone Communities Inc. Cameron will oversee land acquisition, fiscal management, construction operations and sales and marketing.

Health Care Property Investors Inc. named C. Gregory Schonert vice president of business development. Schonert is former vice president of acquisitions and development.

Lonnie P. Nadal was named senior vice president of acquisitions and development for CT Realty Corp., Newport Beach. Nadal will be responsible for commercial, industrial and multi-family properties.

Guthric Development Co. named John W. O’Brien partner. An 11-year veteran, O’Brien began his career as a broker in the industrial division of Grubb & Ellis.

The Counselors of Real Estate elected Joseph W. DeCarlo chairman for the Southern California chapter. DeCarlo is a certified property manager and owner of JD Property Management Inc. in Costa Mesa.

Andrew Parnes was named senior vice president of finance for Standard Pacific Corp. and Clay Halvorsen was named senior vice president for the Irvine-based company.

The building Industry Association of Southern California named Rob Sawyer president of sales and marketing.

Michael Zoob joined Northwest Atlantic Real Estate Services as vice president and director of retail brokerage services in Southern California. Prior to joining Northwest Atlantic, Zoob spent 13 years with Grubb & Ellis Co. in San Diego.


RETAIL

Greg Noll Oceanwear hired Jerry Lund as vice president of sales.


TECHNOLOGY

Ryan Kaltenbaugh joined Siemens Building Technologies Inc. as manager for Orange County. Kaltenbaugh will oversee fire and safety security services.

Michael Dobson joined go2 Systems Inc., Irvine, as executive vice president of engineering and technology. Dobson joins go2Systems after 13 years with Rand McNally.

Webplan Corp., Newport Beach, named Douglas Colbeth, former CEO of Spyglass Inc., to its board of directors.

Christopher Graham was appointed vice president of finance for MicroVault Corp. and Art Weber was named director of new business development for the Huntington Beach company.

TROY Group Inc. appointed Vane Clayton as president of its wireless subsidiary. Clayton replaces Keith Sugawara who became senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Frank Mendicina Jr. was named president and CEO of sales for Select Office Solutions. Mendicina Jr. replaced Frank Mendicina Sr., who will remain chairman of the company.
