The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond dropped 3.9% to 1.245%.
Gold climbed 0.6% to $1,789.
The price for a barrel of oil fell 1.3% to $67.54.
HEALTHCARE
OC healthcare firms were mixed in Monday midday trading, with Newport Beach-based Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) leading gains in the sector. Shares in Evolus, a provider of aesthetic products, rose 6.8% to $11.32 and a $619.4 million market cap. Shares have more than tripled since the start of the year.
Tarsus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: TARS) was down 4.3% to $24.88 and a $512 million market cap. Shares in the Irvine-based company, a maker of ophthalmic drugs, are down nearly 50% in the past six months.
