MemorialCare Drive Thru Tests at Closed Hospital

MemorialCare opened a drive-thru coronavirus testing station for its members at a shuttered San Clemente hospital. The health system run several urgent care, medical offices and other facilities in the area but closed the hospital in 2016.

Late March news reports suggested the hospital itself might reopen to treat coronavirus patients but this hasn’t happened.

Patients must be experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and need a prescription to get a test; the testing takes place weekdays between 9 AM and 4 PM.
