Mazda to Foot Oil Change Bill for Health Workers

Mazda North American Operations said it will begin doing oil changes for free on healthcare workers’ vehicles beginning Thursday.

The Irvine-based automaker said it will spend at least $5 million on its Essential Car Care program, available at Mazda dealers participating in the program nationally.

The program is not limited to Mazda vehicles and is open to U.S. healthcare workers.

Mazda said its workers will use EPA-approved cleaning products on interior and exterior vehicle surfaces that receive heavy exposure.

The automaker’s placed the full details of its program at insidemazda.com.
