Irvine-based medical device maker Inari Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: NARI) said Thursday it promoted Chief Commercial Officer Drew Hykes to chief operating officer.
Hykes will add responsibilities in research, product development, manufacturing, operations, and quality and regulatory, while retaining his commercial duties.
Hykes joined Inari in 2017. He previously served as a vice president of commercial operations at Aliso Viejo-based Sequent Medical ahead of its $280M sale to Terumo. Sequent was spun out of Aliso Viejo-based Inceptus Medical, the same incubator responsible for the creation of Inari.
Inari went public in May with shares listed at $16 each. It grossed net proceeds of $163 million from the initial public offering.
It now sports a market cap of $3.6 billion.
