Edwards Lifesciences Corp. today announced that Chief Financial Officer Scott Ullem will step down from his role by midyear 2026.
The planned transition will “enable continuity and a smooth transfer of responsibilities” as the company launches a search for a new CFO, Edwards said.
Once a new CFO is appointed, Ullem will continue in an advisory role, according to the company.
Ullem has served as CFO at Edwards since 2014, responsible for leading the company’s global finance organization.
Prior to joining Edwards, he served as CFO of Bemis Company Inc., an S&P 500 supplier of packaging and pressure sensitive materials used in leading food, consumer, and healthcare products
Shares in Edwards rose 2% to $85.20 in after-hours trading the day of the announcement. They closed during the regular session at $83.48 and a $49 billion market cap.
